Reduce capital and expense costs as much as 20-30% annually!
What is the condition of your company’s or organization’s asset program? Is it, like some other asset programs that we encounter, in a shambles or nonexistent?
Or maybe your program is just fine but needs a physical inventory to update existing information.
Many companies have large investments in furniture and equipment and have little knowledge of what they own.
One major challenge to overcome, is what to do with all those surplus assets. The ability to gain control of surplus assets presents an opportunity to reduce future expense and capital costs.
Why manage your assets?
A solid asset management program should allow you to:
- Increase productivity – for example, save time locating assets.
- Leverage strategic management data – for example, facilitating repair/refurbish/replace decisions.
- Integrate existing assets with new for relocations and reconfigurations.
- Track equipment warranties.
- Avoid duplicate purchases.
- Increase return on investment by extending useful life of assets.
- Increase net book value – i.e., recognize the full value of fully depreciated assets.
- Document assets for security and insurance.

Our solution is a strategy that views asset management as a process, not just a collection of hardware and software. Our services support asset management programs from initial implementations, to updating data in existing company programs.
Information is made available in electronic or paper database format for reallocation of usable assets, disposal of unneeded excess assets, and refurbishment. (Just imagine asystem to inform your entire organization of asset availability).
We help bring order out of chaos!
Centennial provides bar code asset management software, bar code labels, computers, bar code readers, and trained inventory specialists. Our Bar|Scan® process creates an information database designed to help our customers save money.
For our customers that require a professional inventory to interface data to an existing system, Centennial provides inventory services independent of implementing Bar|Scan.
Our process incorporating Bar|Scan is the most comprehensive bar code management system available. It provides valuable information such as an asset’s type, description, location, status, condition, manufacturer, a digital image for speedy identification, and much more. How broadly or specifically the customer wishes to describe the assets is entirely up to them.
Reports provided are designed to the customer’s specifications. If the customer has existing information that needs to be updated, we can import their data into Bar|Scan and return it in the same format after the inventory is complete.
